Coach Pressler was recently recognized by the Intercollegiate Men Collegiate Lacrosse Association (IMCLA) for his superlative efforts above and beyond the normal duties expected of a coach. He is the 2023 Creator's Award Winner, given to the individual who most  demonstrates the following criteria:

• Active participation and leadership in advocating the history and traditions of the sport.
• Display of honor toward the game in a manner that would make the game's forefathers proud.
• Expression of spirit toward the game that is reflective of the game's creators.
• Display a cooperative and caring attitude in offering his own professional and personal expertise and assistance to the sport and his institution.
• Improvement of the lacrosse team at his institution without sacrifice of standards.
