Highland Park Lacrosse is proud to announce DII Assistant Coach Rich Moses has been awarded the THSLL Person on the Year. This award honors an individual whose dedication, commitment, and support of lacrosse and its ideals extends beyond his/her specific Member Team. That's Rich.

Not only does Rich coach for HP, he is the director and coach of HEADstrong Texas. Coach Moses also organizes and presents the Patriot Cup that benefits the HEADstrong Foundation. The 2017 Patriot Cup will be hosted at the new Cowboys facility "The Star" in Frisco on February 18th featuring DI College teams Notre Dame vs Georgetown (men's) and Stanford vs Duke (women's).

Rich grew up on Long Island and is a Class of 1989 graduate of Hobart College and played on 3 National Championship teams. During Rich's senior year at Hobart he was awarded the Noel Filipino Award for outstanding sportsmanship and team play.
Coach Moses says "Back in 1989 legendary Hobart lacrosse coach Dave Urick said to our team after a hard fought win in the National Championship that we should remember to give something back to the great game of lacrosse that has and will continue to give us so much.  This has been a mantra of mine and has guided my coaching philosophy to a large extent.  I try to let the boys know how much the love of the game means and how a team can accomplish great things."

Thank you Coach Moses for all you do for Texas lacrosse and Highland Park Lacrosse.
